Call by FWCUI for messages of solidarity to Worker’s conference in Baghdad

 

Dear comrades and supporters of the working class struggle in Iraq:

 

Federation of workers councils and unions in Iraq-FWCUI is holding its second conference in Baghdad on (2 April 2005) in which we expect more than 250-300 workers delegates to take part in this conference.

 

This is a historical event for the workers in Iraq to have their own free and open conference to be held in Baghdad after three decades of Ba’athist oppression and two years of brutal occupation of Iraq as well as the ongoing terrorism by political Islamists.

 

So please send messages of solidarity in support of their efforts for getting more organised to defend their own rights and to be united against both US/UK occupation and political Islamists.
