Solidarity message from MDS

(The Movement for Democratic Socialism- Japan) to the second conference of FWCUI in Baghdad on 2 .April 2005

We would like to express our deepest solidarity to the second conference of FWCUI in Baghdad on April 2005. The recent news of the wave of strikes led by FWCUI has encouraged the peace loving people and the workers all over the world. We believe the Civil Resistance in Iraq, especially including the working class is the only perspective to end the occupation of Iraq and to realize a free, secular and non-ethnic government in Iraq.

We are now determined to advance the international solidarity activities with FWCUI and the Civil Resistance as a co-founder of IFC (Iraq Freedom Conference).

Let’s end the occupation of Iraq!

Let’s withdraw immediately all the occupying forces including US, UK, and Japan from Iraq!

Let’s advance the activities of IFC (Iraq Freedom Conference) as an international solidarity movement!

Let’s establish a free, secular and non-ethnic government in Iraq!

Long Live the International Solidarity!

Best Wishes and Solidarity

SATO, Kazuyoshi

President of MDS (the Movement for Democratic Socialism, Japan)
